Activities & Excursions - Horse Riding on the Algarve

Day & Half Day Activities

We will pick you up from your resort. You will then arrive in the Barlavento countryside in the morning or in the afternoon and return after your activity. At lunch time you can choose to enjoy a country lunch (optional extra) before or after your ride. You can also add in a half day “See the Real Algarve” trip before or after your activity - or we can go off for the day leaving the kids to enjoy all the activities whilst we enjoy a "grown up " day !!

Horse Riding, Quad Bikes, Mountain Bikes & “Jeep Safari”

*All Equipment is provided as is expert tuition
*All Ability levels are catered for in safe calm surroundings from beginner to advanced rider.
*All horses are matched to the rider.
*Horses for beginners are safe experienced schoolmasters.

Please note Riders will need to wear socks and long trousers.

Your riding is organised with a local riding school. Your contract is directly with them and we accept no liability for their servcies. We supply the transport only & we are fully licensed and insured for this. It is your responsibility check the insurance held by the riding school and to make sure that you are covered by suitable holiday insurance for the activities booked

Your welfare and that of our horses is paramount - Bad behaviour by you or your group will result in immediate cancellation without refund.

“Wear the Kids out “ and Kids Parties

A half day of activities including a taste of all the above. From 30 € per child. Option to extend to a full day

Parties for birthdays and other special occasions. The party includes riding, party games & a sumptuous Birthday tea with CAKE!

Costs

There are two costs involved:

Transport

We will take you in our Private Chauffeur Service Car + driver (up to 4 people) or our brand new Minibus (up to 8 people) from your resort. Cost varies by resort but for example Vilamoura is 15€ return per person,(children 4-16 7.50€, under 7 (non riders) free (minimum per vehicle 60€ return)‏
or you can use our Shared Service ( minimum of 4 people to run) 15€ return per person, children 4-16 7.50€, non riders under 7 free

Horse Riding (Payable direct to the riding school)
Horse orientation in the arena (compulsory) followed by hack total approx.1½ hours Adults 30 €, Children (4-16) 20 € (longer hacks / extra time by arrangement).
Quad Bikes 30 € an hour age limits apply
Mountain Bikes 10€ per person
“Jeep Safari” 15€ each, children 7-16 7.50€, under 7 free (minimum per vehicle 60€) about a 1½ hrs trip

All these can be combined for an activity day
